Vic, Arxiu i Biblioteca Episcopal, Ms. 44 (XXXVI)
84va-144vb, Sine Auctore - Institutio canonicorum Aquisgranensis a. 816
The manuscript was initiated by the Vic canon and scribe Ermemir Quintilià, who was also responsible for some other Vic manuscripts. The eleventh quire (fol. 83–90) is combining codicologically and palaeographically the two main parts of the manuscript, i. e. Isidore of Sevilles De summo bono and the Institutio canonicorum Aquisgranensis of 816, which confirms the content of the colophon by Ermemir Quintilià on fol. / Pax omnibus a deo ista legentibus et ortamur [rewritten in brown ink:] ut vestris [then:] orationibus adiuvemur . Scripta sunt hęc in sancta sede beati petri vico in anno IIII regnante philippo rege .”. This could be the manuscript later mentioned in the Vic inventory of April 1368: “Item altro libra de pregamí apelat ‘Isidorus De Sumo Bono’”, Inventarium ecclesiae Ausonensis a. 1368 (1934), p. 14 no 24; Inventarium ecclesiae Ausonensis a. 1368 (2001), p. 410 l. 1: VILLANUEVA 1821a, p. 40 sq. and 78 sq.; HÄNEL 1847, p. 92 no 36; DE EGURÉN 1859, p.
