The manuscript was seen in Sant Miquel dels Reis by Jaime Villanueva who dated it to the year 1254 according to this date mentioned in the first text on fol. 1r: VILLANUEVA 1804, p. 126 sq. (“un martirologio escrito el año 1254, como consta de una breve nota, que se halla al principio con este título: ‘de arte inveniendi qualiter sit pronuntianda Luna’ … Seguidamente están los tres prólogos de dichos tres autores [sc.
