The Ripoll catalogue of 1047 mentions three martyrologies, perhaps copies of Ado of Vienne’s work: “Martirologia III.”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1908), p. 104 no 89–91; Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1992), p. 399 l. 13. Rufdolf Beer’s edition refers to no 40 of Benet Ribas i Ribas’s inventory which had at its beginning a “Necrologium Monachorum et Benefactorum Monasterii Rivipulli”; for the other texts in this manuscript, i. a. a copy of the Regula S. Benedicti (see there), ibid., p. 23 and 100. This Ripoll manuscript was also seen by Jaume Villanueva during his visit of Montserrat in 1806 and finally described by Pròsper de Bofarull in 1823 (“Martirologio de Adón, con un necrologio y ritual muy importante al principio, del Monasterio de Ripoll, y concluye con la regla de S.n Benito. El necrologio será del siglo 14; pero lo demás no baja del 10. Another Ripoll copy of Ado of Vienne’s work was in abbot Oliba’s (now lost) personal exemplar with another copy of the Regula S. Benedicti and the smaller literary and scientific works by Oliba and his namesake monk Oliba of Ripoll. The Ripoll catalogue of 1047 mentions it as “Liber Sancti Benedicti”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1908), p. 103 no 78; Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1992), p. 399 l. 10. This was finally Benet Ribas i Ribas’s manuscript no 37, which was also described by Jaime Villanueva and Pròsper de Bofarull (“Otro Martirologio y regla de S.n Benito, muy antiguo con tablas de cómputos pascuales, un cronicón, el libro ‘de paschali ciclo’ compuesto por un monge de Ripoll, y varias cartas de Oliva al Opispo de este nombre que son del año 1047. Está bastante maltratado, debe examinarse con más detención.
