The library catalogue of this Cistercian abbey from 1244 mentions a copy of this work on the fourth bookshelf (“In quarta tabula in qua est D”): “Alitgarius de vitiis et virtutibus (later added: “Maiorum”)”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Fontis Frigidi a. 1244, p. 277 l. 10. The manuscript was later given to the daughter-house Santa Maria de la Real in Palma (Mallorca), where it appears as “Item hun alter libre appellat ‘Alicargius’” in the inventory of 1502, April 28: HILLGARTH 1959, p. 175 no D 14; BONDÉELLE-SOUCHIER 1991, p. 112; BELL 1995, p. 79, p. 88 with n. 28, p. 89 and p. 92. The witness is not mentioned by ROCHAIS 1953, p. 252 with n. 1.
