Unidentified, olim Sainte-Marie de Vallebonne, containing Hrabanus Maurus, Homiliae in Evangelia et Epistolas
No manuscript, Hrabanus Maurus - Homiliae in Evangelia et Epistolas
The foundation charter of Sainte-Marie de Fontfroide for Sainte-Marie de Vallebonne in August 1242 mentions a copy of this Homiliary in two volumes: “et damus primam partem et secundam Rabani [ed. “Rabaim”]”, Charta fundationis S. Mariae Vallisbonae a. 1242, col. 488 l. 29 sq.: BELL 1995, p. 79 and 83 sq. (not respecting the context with the impossible following suggestions: “It is, however, uncertain which treatise is intended. The most probable candidate is Rabanus’s ‘De rerum naturis’/‘De universo’… which regularly circulated in two parts or two volumes, but the popular ‘Allegoriae’ attributed to Rabanus … must also be considered a possibility’”).
