According to the excerpts from February 13 and March 6, 12 and 13, transmitted in the working materials of the Maurists Dom Anselm Le Michel (1601–1644) in Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 13817, fol. 443r (middle of the 17th century; not from his hand) and Claude Estiennot in Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 12773, p. 394 sq. (1681), the lost manuscript was a copy of the first family, second recension: LEMAITRE/LE BLÉVEC 2004, p. 58–61 (p. 58: “au plus tôt dans le dernier quart du IXe siècle”), 67 sq., 74, 82, 96 and 173 (manuscript [a]). There are, however, further excerpts from the lost manuscript, overlooked by Lemaitre and Le Blévec, which deliver some further details of the copy: Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 12770, p. 164 sq. (1678) and Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 12773, p. 398 (1681), two manuscripts of Claude Estiennot, transmit also parts III and II of Florus of Lyons’ Carmen XII (see there; only Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 12773 transmits also the copyist’s colophon at the end: “Ille qui Petro gradiendi porrexit manum, Ita quoque scribenti praestet auxilium”) which was added to a copy of Ado of Vienne’s Martyrologium as in some other copies mentioned by Ernst Dümmler, who, however, does not mention our Gellone copy. The lost manuscript obviously transmitted also the monastery’s necrologue: DÜMMLER 1884, p. 544 (the manuscripts are not mentioned); SCHALLER/KÖNSGEN 1977, p. 105 no 2214 (the manuscripts are not mentioned); Colophons de manuscrits 1982, p. 157 sq. no 20286. This lost copy is obviously mentioned in the manuscript catalogue of the eighteenth century: “Martyrologium amplissimum, in pergameno, in-fol.”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Salvatoris Gellonensis, p. 1240 l. 1 sq., since Montpellier, Bibliothèque municipale, Ms. 13 shows only an abbreviated version of Ado (see there). Digitization: http://gallica.bnf.fr.
