The catalogue of this Benedictine abbey mentions under the title of a third copy of this work several books on orthography by a certain Paul: “Item est aliud volumen quod dicitur Maradi de grammatica, in quo continentur libri Pauli abbatis de orthographia”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Pontii Tomeriae a. 1276, p. 547 no 214: MANITIUS 1907, p. 670 sq.; KIBRE 1930, p. 7 sq.; LÖFSTEDT e. a. 1986, p. LX and LXIV (“il est vraisemblable que … les trois témoins de St-Pons étaient carolingiens et appartenaient au même rameau β”). This witness is not mentioned by RÄDLE 1974; WITTERS 1975.
