Similar to the older Ripoll copies (see there), the manuscript transmits the poem under Bede’s name (“Versus de exemplis Bedani”). The manuscript was seen and described by Jaime Villanueva: “En un vol. del mismo tamaño [sc. “8.o”] y tiempo [sc. “s. XIV”] estan, Notitia artis metricae Bedae praesbyteri, Sedulii opera, y un fragmento artis grammaticae Donati”; VILLANUEVA 1806b, p. 172 (the text is not mentioned); RUBIÓ I LLUCH/RUBIÓ I BALAGUER 1913–1914, p. 747 and 749 (“s.
