It is written by the famous scribe Guifred and certainly one of the two manuscripts mentioned in the Ripoll catalogue of 1047, “Amelarii II.”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1908), p. 105 no 160 sq.; Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum S. Mariae Rivipullensis a. 1047 (1992), p. 399 l. 11: EWALD 1881, p. 389; BEER 1908, 1, p. 106 no 160 sq.; MANITIUS 1919, p. 718; RIUS I SERRA 1926, p. 566; HANSSENS 1933, p. 327 (who does not mention existing Catalan copies of the work); DÍAZ Y DÍAZ 1969, p. 236; MIRANDA Y GARCÍA 2015, p. 34 with n. 47; GROS I PUJOL 2016, p. 134 no 43 and p. 148; DE PUIG I OLIVER 2017–2019, p. 602 with n. 368.
