2r-2v, Paulus Diaconus - Vita S. Gregorii [BHL 3639 or 3640]

One folium with ch. 7–10, according to Bernhard Bischoff the version BHL 3640 and obviously from Southern France (“scheinbar aus dem südfranzösischen Raume”). Orthographic phenomena and some vulgarisms hint to this provenance too. However, there is no criterium for this version so that it can also be BHL 3639: SCHÖNHERR 1964, p. 25; CASTALDI 2000, p. 124 with n. 154–156; TUZZO 2002, p. XXVI, XXX and LI (manuscript So; not used for the edition and therefore not mentioned in her stemma codicum); VALTORTA 2006, p. 218 sq. The fragment is not mentioned by GRISAR 1887; LIMONE 1988; CHIESA/STELLA 2005, p. 497–501 [PAOLO CHIESA]. BRACKMANN 1901, p. 330–334 deals only with Italian witnesses.
