This manuscript, in the possession of the Portuguese humanist Achiles Estaço (fol. 1r and 59v: “Achillis Statij”), was communicated by Francisco Aduarte to Antoni Agustí i Albanell, archbishop of Tarragona, who initiated a copy from it (Ms. 256 in his own library, today Roma, Biblioteca Vallicelliana, C. 16; see below) and which was finally donated as part of Estaço’s library to the Oratorians of Santa Maria in Vallicella in Rome and therefore forms also part of the Biblioteca Vallicelliana.
