Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat. 1534

1r-115v,  - Institutio canonicorum Aquisgranensis a. 816

Here reworked prologue, ch. 113 end (inc.: “Quia ergo constat … “) – 145 and ch. 1–113 end (expl.: “... et tamen vobiscum ibi regnemus”), but without the “capitulatio” and ch. 11. The fol. 1r–7v are a younger replacement of the 11th century. The manuscript has a 13th-century exlibris on fol. 1r: “Iste liber est ecclesie sancti Nazarij Carcassonensis quicumque eum furatus fuerit vel celaverit vel hunc titulum deleverit anathema sit”. This early copy is mentioned in the catalogue of the library of Carcassonne Cathedral: “Instructio Sacri Concilii Aquisgrani celebrati an. Domini 816”, Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum ecclesiae S. Nazarii Carcassonae, p. 1353 col. a l. 7 sq. The erroneous transcription finds its explantion in the artificial majuscules used for the title. Catalogus codicum manuscriptorum 1744a, p. 146 col. b (“Is codex nono saeculo exaratus videtur”); Conciliorum Galliae Collectio 1789, p. Here in a mutilated form concerning c. 1–3, 5–13 and 15–18. The manuscript has a 13th-century exlibris on fol. 1r: “Iste liber est ecclesie sancti Nazarij Carcassonensis quicumque eum furatus fuerit vel celaverit vel hunc titulum deleverit anathema sit”.
