This copy by fra Guillem Costa, monk of Sant Miquel de Cuixà, was made
for Pierre de Marca during his stay in Catalonia between 1644 and 1651,
perhaps in 1646, from an old medieval manuscript he found in Sant Martí de
Canigou. At the beginning of the copy on fol. 405r stands “In archivo
publico (follows a deleted word, then:) Monasterij sancti Martini
Canigonensis reconditum existit quoddam volumen in pergameneo exaratum manu
inscriptum antiquissimum (here added below with a cross: “.46. fol.
insertum”) auctore ex fine carens. In cuius principio sequitur ita (then
follows the copy)”: AUVRAY/POUPARDIN 1921, p. 105–107, here p. 107: “Fol.
405. Extrait du ‘Chronicon Moissiacense’ [Molinier, ‘Sources’, no 1537],
d’après un ms. de Saint-Martin du Canigou”; CINGOLANI 2012. Digitization:
