Interesting is here Semmler´s and Mordek’s note that the text of the Montserrat copy is closely related to Milano, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, S. 17 sup., fol. 67v–71v, an Italian copy of the 2nd half of the 10th century, which was according to the possession note on fol. 98v latest since the 12th/13th century in the possession of San Giusto di Susa west to Torino, thus in the Piemont: SEMMLER 1960, p. 370 (manuscript D); SEMMLER 1963a, p. 539 and 545–554 (edition; manuscript D); MORDEK 1995a, p. 251 (manuscript Mi3). Since this Benedictine abbey in Susa was only founded in the early eleventh century (1027), but the patron saint Just a martyrised Benedictine monk of the nearby abbey of Novalese, we have here perhaps the hint at another connection between Catalonia and northern Italy already in the 10th century.
