Here with the dedication letter to Asper. The
Hispano-Catalano-Septimanian calendar on fol. 1v–12v shows the basic version
which in Madrid, Biblioteca Nacional de España, Ms. 9605 (olim Ee. 40) and
especially in Città del Vaticano, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Reg. lat.
1855 is adapated to the new cultual horizons of the owner institutions of
these copies. Is this a copy from the late time under Abbot Oliba of Ripoll
(?), a parallel manuscript to Città del Vaticano, Biblioteca Apostolica
Vaticana, Reg. lat. 123? The manuscript was latest in the 12th century in
Septimania (on fol. 87vb note on a mandate by Abbot Gaucerannus of Gignac
concerning a number of south(-western) French Benedictine monasteries; below
a French note of the year 1566). Later in the 16th century, the manuscript
was in Italy (three, later cancelled notes on money loans for houses on the
verso-sides of the unnumbered paper bifolium between the end of the medieval
manuscript and the Roman print of 1508). The manuscript is finally mentioned
in its present state-of-the-art in the catalogue of the manuscripts of Queen
Christina of Sweden (Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Ms. lat.
10387, fol.
1910, p. 148 no 41; DÜMMLER 1925a, 117 no 7 (“s. XI”; manuscript R); VAN DE
VYVER 1935, p. 148 (“s. XI”); BIGNAMI ODIER 1962, p. 185; Les manuscrits de
la reine de Suède 1964, p. 32 no 492; VERHEIJEN 1980, p. 9; TESSIER 1994, p.
