Barcelona, Biblioteca de Catalunya, Ms. 548
3ra-298vb, Remigius of Auxerre - In Matthaeum
Link to digitization: here.
Here with a now mutilated “capitulatio” written by another
younger hand on fol. 1r and a now half-cut title “Expositio Beati
Remigii Super Matheum ;.” added by a later hand on the upper margin
of fol. 3r. The manuscript was in possession of Pau Ignasi de
Dalmases i Ros (1670–1718) and came in 1916 with the collection of
this noble Barcelona family (bearing there the shelfmark “D 151”) to
the Biblioteca de Catalunya. At present, we cannot prove that the
manuscript belonged to a Catalan religious institution or person
during the Middle Ages, since it could be a purchased book during
the nobleman’s European journeys. The parchment book-binding is
typical for the Library of Dalmases: DE BOFARULL Y SANS 1890, p. 71
sq. (“de principios del siglo XIV”); D’ALÒS I MONER 1916, p. 39
(“REMIGIUS, monjo de S. Germain d'Auxerre, ‘Super Matheum’ … Segle

“6”); DOMÍNGUEZ Y BORDONA 1933, 1, p. 49 no 77 (“S. XII”) and p. 53
fig. 53 (fol. 3r); VILAR I COSTA 1936, p. 269 n. 1 and p. 270–281
