Because of its bad state of conservation and its 130 pages (65 folia), it is not identical with the complete Berlin, Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Hamilton 31 (see there), which is better conserved and counts 87 folia. This has not been considered by most of the following studies: Catalogue général des manuscrits 1849, p. 488 (“IXe siècle”); WERMINGHOFF 1899, p. 480 (“s. IX.”); WERMINGHOFF 1901a, p. 12; WERMINGHOFF 1902a, p. 638 with n. 1 (“vielleicht aus Bourges”); WERMINGHOFF 1906, p. 310 no 1 (“antea fortasse Bituricensis ... saec. IX”) and p. 311; SCHIEFFER 1976, p. 250 n. 106; MORDEK 1995a, p. 1046 (“verschollen ... Teil mit der Institutio heute Berlin Hamilton 31?”); PÉRICARD 2016, p. 75 with n. 11.
